A) For Current Residents

This process can be followed by Indians or any foreigner who is currently living in UAE. 

1. Gather the Documents

  • Emirates ID: This is your official identification document in the United Arab Emirates. Make sure that it’s valid and has not expired.
  • Letter Stating No Criminal History: Obtain a letter from your current employer or sponsor in the UAE. This letter should state that you have shown good conduct during your employment or sponsorship period and they have no objections against you. 
  • Recent Passport-Size Photo: The photo should meet specific requirements. It should be in colour, with a clear and neutral background. Your full face should be visible.

For current residents, there are 2 options to get PCC —Submit online or visit Dubai police offices.  

  • Online submission: Visit the Ministry of Interior’s website or download their app. You can also use the Dubai Police website. Upload your documents, fill up the form, and click the submit button. 
  • Offline submission: Visit Dubai Police offices. Submit your documents including UAE Embassy attested finger print and form to them.

 

B) Applying for a PCC as a Former Resident

1. 1 – If you have a photocopy of a canceled Emirates ID, it is still valid for obtaining a PCC from the UAE. However, if you don’t have the canceled ID or even a photocopy, please follow the steps in point 1.2.

  • An additional fee of AED 100 will be applied through service centres in person
