What is the process for HRD Attestation in India?

There are three distinct steps involved in the attestation of educational certification from the Human Resource Development (HRD) Department, namely –
- DOCUMENTS SUBMISSION : The documents that are required to be attested by the HRD ministry need to be submitted to the ministry. Submission is accepted from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on all working days, except public holidays.
- DOCUMENTS VERIFICATION : The educational documents submitted to the HRD department for attestation are sent to the concerned college/university that issued the document for the purpose of verification. Once the educational institute verifies the document for its authenticity, it sends a letter of approval to the HRD Department expressing its approval or disapproval.
- FINAL ATTESTATION : Once the concerned college/university approves the document’s authenticity, the HRD Ministry sign and stamp of Attestation on the documents, verifying its legitimacy.
